Please find attached the Rally Entry forms. Competitors are encouraged to be familiar with Rally Rules and score sheets which can be found at http://www.canadianponyclub.org/what-we-do.php?page=rallies&topic=national-rules
As it is a working Rally there will be helpful people around every corner to make it a positive experience. Remember to have stall cards and medical armbands filled out prior to arrival. Please bring safety vests and number pinnies if you have them. If you have members interested in attending as grooms (non riding) let me know and we can make arrangements for that too!
I’m happy to answer any questions and we look forward to hosting a great event!

What is Sask Regional Rally?
We do Working Rally which includes instruction. Rally consists of 3 riding phases, like Horse Trials. Friday, upon arrival and set up of teams and team trailers, we will begin with Dressage. You will be given the Dressage test prior to arrival so that you can practice. You will receive feedback after the test. Saturday will include a cross country lesson in the morning and riding a cross country course in the afternoon. Sunday will follow a similar format with a show jumping lesson prior to the stadium competition. The aim is to have success regardless of your level and groups will be made accordingly. However, it is important that you are able to canter comfortably in an open field.
There is also a Stable Management portion. This means you and your team will be judged on horse care and having a workmanlike tack room. It is always helpful to have your tack and grooming kits cleaned and labeled prior to arriving. We will send out SM score sheets. Your team captain will be there to help you upon arrival and throughout the weekend.
We will run Starter level (2′), Pre Entry (2’6″), Entry (2’9″) and PreTraining (3′)
Tidy clinic wear and all PC appropriate safety gear including vests which are required for XC. Arrangements can be made to borrow if needed.
Horse Appropriate tack, clean and in good repair.
Neck strap (1 can be provided for you)
Boots are recommended
Stall guards (stabling is provided in outside paddocks, 4 ft gate openings)
Completed stall cards
Have all equipment labeled
We aim to start at 4:30 on Friday so if you can let us know ETAs that makes scheduling easier. (Earlier arrival is great, later is too, just let us know and we’ll schedule dressage tests accordingly!)
Meals beginning with supper on Friday through lunch on Sunday (and snacks for the road in the afternoon) are provided.
We have a select number of campers available for accommodations so if you require one, let us know.
Non riding grooms are welcome to attend and will be placed on teams.
